ABOUT MIKE C

Michael Cesena, better known as Ask Mike C, is a finance manager and sales professional with over 25 years of experience in sales and marketing. His career began early, working alongside local political leaders, including state assemblymen, senators, and even a governor—supporting fundraising efforts, voter outreach, and data organization. Those formative experiences taught him how to connect with people, build trust, and communicate with purpose—skills that became the foundation of his success in sales.

 Over the years, Mike C has built a diverse background spanning retail, real estate, solar and LED lighting, telesales, inside and outside sales, and product marketing. Every chapter of his journey has strengthened his ability to understand customers, lead teams, and close with confidence.

 For more than a decade, he’s dedicated himself to the automotive industry, beginning as a BDC representative, rising to BDC Manager, and ultimately becoming a Finance Manager at one of the largest Mazda dealerships in the country.

 Mike C’s approach is straightforward and unapologetically real. He doesn’t sugarcoat the truth or dress it up with buzzwords, he gives it to you straight, with experience and fire to back it up. His mission is simple: help sales professionals cut out distractions, master their craft, and win with integrity.

 With his debut book, Distractions, Mike C shares his hard-earned lessons to help others stay focused and thrive in one of the most challenging industries on earth. It’s his way of giving back to the business that built him—and inspiring the next generation of closers to build their lives the right way.
